2010 BMW X6 M
we are finally able to provide the details for this package by the famous BMW-loving tuners. While this package sees absolutely zero engine upgrades - BUMMER! - it does come with a new aerodynamic package that makes the X6 M look absolutely amazing.
Among the modifications provided for the sporty SUV include a new front add-on spoiler that is constructed out of carbon fiber composite (CFRP), a new front spoiler designed to add downforce to the front axle at high speeds while directing more air into the front radiators and air duct openings, and an all-new power dome sculpted vented carbon composite hood.
Follow the upgrades to the back of the car and you will find a new sporty carbon fiber diffuser that replaces the factory plastic unit, 3 modular aero fins that are attached to the main body of the diffuser in addition to 2 vented slits to help cool the exhaust system and a carbon add-on rear deck lid spoiler that balances the additional down force of the new front end. The package is finished by forged 1-piece monoblock aluminum wheels and high performance Michelin PS2 sport tires.
In reality, not much has changed since they previewed the package back in March so we really don’t know why we had to wait so long for the official details for the SUV. And if we are looking at all of the exterior packages for the X6M then we would have to opt for the package that includes a little power boost to the exterior modifications. After looking at kits provided by Hamann, AC Schnitzer, and G-Power, we would put our money on one of the original packages for the X6; the tuning kit by G-Power. In that package, the customer would get both exterior modifications as well as a nice little bump in power.
